Our History
1993 – Purchase of Corr’s Corner Hotel
1997 – 30 bedrooms added to Corr’s Corner Hotel to turn it from a Roadhouse into a Hotel.
1999 – Purchased the Dunsilly Arms, a small pub in County Antrim and launched the 40 bedroom Dunsilly hotel, complete with 8 conference suites on the site in 2005
2005 – £4 Million extension & transformation of Corr’s Corner Hotel – including 8 conference suites, a banqueting suite, creating a separate public bar and doubling the size of the Grill Bar and more than doubling the bed stock to 68 bedrooms.
2010 – The Adair Arms Hotel, Ballymena was purchased by The McKeever Hotels and underwent a £2million and 2 year project renovating the entire property.
2014 – The Group purchased Letterkenny Court Hotel in Main Street, Letterkenny. After a €1million investment into the public areas it relaunched 6 months later as Dillons Hotel. Phase two of Dillons Hotel’s renovations which included bedroom refurbishment was completed 1 year later.
2017 – The Group add a 5th property to their portfolio, the Dunadry Hotel, County Antrim.
2018-19 – Major renovations begin on the Dunadry Hotel And Gardens spending £5million on full refurbishment including The Grand Ballroom, Linen Mill Suite, Lounge Area & All Bedrooms
2019 – Corr’s Corner Hotel gain the addition of a Fitness Suite, complimentary to all accommodation guests.
2021 – New Lobby Entrance, Reception and Cooper Bar revealed at Dunadry Hotel And Gardens
2022 – McKeever Hotels Installed EV chargers across our entire hotel network
2023 – Completed a €1.8million refurbishment of Dillons Hotel’s bedrooms offering, family rooms, suites and deluxe room types and adding a guest fitness centre
2023 – Installed Solar Panels at Dunadry Hotel And Gardens and replaced the BMS as part of our ongoing Sustainability Goals
2024 – Invested £1million in the full refurbishment of Dunsilly Hotels bedrooms, event spaces and lobby
2024 – Launched our Green Rooms Initiative – learn more
2024 – Purchased The Lodge Hotel in Coleraine
Our Achievements
2008 – Eugene was awarded with Newtownabbey Business Person of the Year 2008 for the second time in four years, due to his investment and dedication towards to the Newtownabbey area.
2009 – Eugene became President of the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation, after dedicating his time to the NIHF board for 10 years
2014 – Eugene McKeever got honoured with a MBE for his services to Hospitality & Tourism for Northern Ireland in the Queens Birthdays Honour in June 2014.
2018 – Eugene was awarded Licensed & Catering News Lifetime Achievement Award.
2019 – Corr’s Corner Hotel named as 1 of Northern Ireland’s Top 100 Businesses by Hospitality Ulster.
2019 – Dunadry Hotel and Garden was award for being China Ready & Accredited.
2021– Dunadry Hotel And Gardens received AA Rosette for the restuarant
2022 – Eddie McKeever became President of NI Hotels Federation
2022 – McKeever Hotels won Employer of the Year at NI Family Business Awards
2023 – McKeever Hotels was highly commended Hospitality Business of the Year at Belfast Telegraph Awards
